BHON Live Beer taste test:

Here are the results from the 1st ever BHON beer tasting event held at Mike B’s house. The difficulty was in still having active tastebuds after sampling 17 different beers. Well so was walking....

 

Beer Scorecards, in chronological order:

Moosehead: Dunno, 80%, 5% alcohol, Canada

Warsteiner: Phenolic, 65%, 4.8% alcohol, Germany

Red Stripe: Astrigent, 70%, 4.7% alcohol, Jamaica

Der Koninck: DMS, 85% , 5% alcohol, Belgium

Duvel: Estery, 68%, 8.1% alcohol, Belgium

Westmalle: Sour/Acidic, 71%, 9.5% alcohol, Belgium

Brava: Cleansing, 85%, 5% alcohol, Canada

Grimbergen: Solvent, 55%, 9% alcohol, Belgium

Leffe: Diacetyl, 68%, 6.5% alcohol, Belgium, Derek: "it’s ok if you’re into licking a dogs ass"

Leffe blonde: Diacetyl, 75%, 6.6% alcohol, Belgium

Guinness: 95%, 4.8% alcohol, Ireland

Kostriker : Guinness lite, 78%, 4.8% alcohol, Germany

urBock : Astringent, 75%, 6% alcohol, Canadian (derek is banned for life and gay)

Innus & Gunn, Diacetyl, 62%, 6.6% alcohol, Scotland

Lowenbrau: 76%, 5.2% alcohol, Germany

Tuborg: Acetaldehyde, 82%, 5.5% alcohol, Dennmark

Kilkenny: 4.3% alcohol, Ireland
