The BHON Top Cock Award - A new feature section with an award given to any individual who goes out of their way to enhance and enlighten any BHON evening by being present and doing something extraordinary for the BHON experience!

This month's BHON Top Cock award goes to Andrew Obee for his appearance at the BHON 9th Anniversary, not to mention paying for everything! A big shout out to Andrew, since many of us haven't seen him in almost a decade!

Do you wanna be a Cock Supporter? Think you got what it takes? The honour is open to anyone, member or not. Just show up and do something memorable for the BHON community and we'll be glad to acknowledge you by putting your name in infamy on our site!




BHON 9th Anniversary

Hard to believe 9 years has passed since the birth of BHON!

This year we broke with tradition and decided that something as important as the BHON anniversary should be held someplace significant. Taste of the Caribbean provided just the right venue, being the breakout suprise of 2005. As usual the wings were superb and the Buzz beer kept flowing.

Also, a suprise appearance by some BHON originals made it an extra special night! A big shout out to Scott and Rick for showing up, and the first ever TOP COCK award to Andrew Obee for flipping the bill for the evening! A most memorable time was had by all as we venture into year TEN!




BHON Gas Conservation Tips

With gas prices on the rise BHON offers the following suggestion to help you cope with the increasing costs.

Stay Home!

Just think, by staying home not only will you save energy, but reduce air pollution and aggravation by having one less dumbass on the road to deal with. While you're at it, quit your job (you are always complaining about it anyway) and go on welfare. Actually, why don't you just go kill yourself and be done with it!

BHON Site for the Deaf Launched!

In an Internet first, the BHON web site is proud to announce complete accessibility for the hearing impaired!!!

Instead of a background audio this month, we have embedded a special message in American Sign Language to help those with auditory sensory difficulties feel right at home. We hope this will the the first in many great enhancements to the web site to help bring enjoyment to all segments of the population.




Downtown Pub Crawl 2005

Finally a bit of a break from one of the hottest summers we’ve seen in years! We decided to take advantage of a warm summer evening with a perfect breeze to enjoy a few of downtown St. Catharines finer establishments.

The evening began with a round of Guinness at Patrick Sheehan’s Irish pub, followed by a round of homebrewed Dark Wheat and some huge, tasty wings at the Merchant Ale House. "Oh...we have a special! Pitcher of a house draft of your choice and 2 pounds of wings for $20!" Set a brother up!

Our final stop of the evening was Kaz’s, for a couple more pitchers of Guinness and a round of wings on the patio while we watched the humanity go by on St. Paul Street.

All in all a really fun BHON night, with an intimate appeal. Although there were many more bars on the list to be enjoyed, we decided to take our time. Why rush a Guinness???
